SCA alumni at Dancing on the Edge Festival
There is considerable SCA representation as performers and choreographers in the 2019 edition of the , which runs July 4 to 13 at various venues in Vancouver. Looking specifically at choreographers, MFA alumni and Nayana Fielkovis are presenting Habitats and MFA candidate is presenting Emergency!! (featuring SCA alumni dancers , Kestrel Paton, and Charlotte Telfer-Wan) as part of the series at the 's Courtyard Stage; MFA alumni is presenting at Studio T here in the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, co-presented by SFU Woodward鈥檚 Cultural Programs, as one of the 'full programs' in the festival; BFA alumni is presenting Mid-light at the Firehall Arts Centre as part of the series; BFA alumni and Alejandra Miranda are presenting Eltaconquenofit at the Firehall Arts Centre as part of the series; BFA alumni is presenting The Body Project (working title) and the , with BFA alumni Megan Hunter as its Artistic Director, is presenting Druft B at the Firehall Arts Centre as part of the series; and BFA alumni , who is an Artistic Associate with , is presenting Chapter 21 (work-in-progress) as part of the program at Firehall Arts Centre's Studio.
