Adam Basanta wins the Prix Pierre-Ayot
SCA BFA alumni Adam Basanta has won the , which is awarded to visual artists who are in the "early stages of their career." Adam will receive "a $ 5,000 grant and a $ 2,500 budget for the organization of an individual exhibition in Montréal." Created in 1996 by the in partnership with the , the Prix Pierre-Ayot seeks to "promote excellence among Montreal’s new visual arts creators, to foster the dissemination of the work of young artists in the city’s galleries and artist-run spaces, and to recognize the efforts of presenters to support up-and-coming artists."
