SFU Science in Action

SFU Science in Action is our monthly science outreach newsletter for K-12 teachers.

Get the latest news on upcoming SFU Science workshops and public events for classes and families.

SFU Café Scientifique

SFU Café Scientifique is our public seminar series, sharing the most current scientific research and questions about its meaning to society. Come and hear the stories of science, right from the researchers themselves.

Join the SFU Café Scientifique e-mail and newsletter list for the latest updates and reminders of other upcoming science talks.

Starry Nights

Starry Nights is a free, all ages, in-person event star party at the Trottier Observatory, every Friday night when the skies are clear.  This mailing list sends a confirmation message on every clear Friday night that Starry Nights is running, and also sends notices of Astronomy Workshops and other special celestial events at the Observatory.

The last Friday of the month is an ONLINE only event, and a link is mailed to all list members to tune in and join the live YouTube telecsope webcast and chat.

You can also check our or feeds for Starry Night confirmations - yes or no - every Friday afternoon.
