Position: After school support - BI for 7 year old.

Location: Maple Ridge

We’re looking for a dedicated Behavior Interventionist (BI) for after school sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Creative, fun and energetic.
  • Think on your feet and receptive to support in use of declarative language within session to support independence and skill building.
  • Commitment of 1 year minimum to ensure continuity of support.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check and Supportive references.

Hours & Flexibility:

  • 1-2 shifts per week, 1.5 - 2 hours each session
  • Weekend shifts may be available and flexibility within summer and holiday breaks.

Position Title: Behaviour Interventionist

We are looking for an energetic, fun and committed BI to join our team to work with a happy and calm little boy. He is 2.5 years old and diagnosed with ASD.

Location:

Coquitlam, Westwood Plateau.

The potential candidate must:

  • Be at least 19 years old.
  • knowledge and experience working with autistic children – especially experience in work with toddlers.
  • Have knowledge on principles of ABA/ verbal behaviour.
  • Have strong play skills.
  • Be able to support the child with communication and social skills.
  • Must hold valid driver’s license and own his/ her own vehicle.
  • Must have clear criminal record check – this may be requested by the family as well.
  • Must be committed to their position as a BI and treat it as a professional job.

Time and day:

  • 5 days a week – Monday to Friday – start time 10:00 am
  • 1.5 to 2 hours per session

Compensation:

$25.00-$35.00 based on experience and education

Description:

The family is looking for an experienced and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join as a BI for a 4-year-old boy. The child is playful and sweet. He loves to play at the playground, go out in the community, play with toy cars, colour, and work on puzzles. He is active and playful. This role involves implementing behavior intervention in a preschool setting to support the individual.

Hours:

Looking for approximately 3x per week in a preschool setting for 2.5 hours per session.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment
  • Monitor and evaluate the client's progress.
  • Support the child in a preschool setting with other peers and adults.
  • Track and record client data and progress

Requirments and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of autism and effective behavior intervention strategies

Hours:

At least two days a week (prefer Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays with each session ranging from 4 to 6 hours based on your availability)
