SFU Geography Alumni Sean Orr wins Vancouver council seat in byelection

Sean Orr, a recent graduate of SFU with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science, has been elected to the Vancouver City Council. Orr ran for election under the Coalition of Progressive Electors (COPE) and secured one of the two available seats in the by-election on April 5, 2025, with the .
