Contact an Advisor

Advisors can help with course and program selection, provide information on graduation requirements, assist with program entry and declaration and provide details on upcoming course offerings. They can also provide general information and referrals in areas related to: study abroad/student exchange, personal or learning support, academic difficulty, volunteer opportunities, career advising, etc.

Outside of scheduled drop-in times, students are welcome to connect with us via email or phone or to set up an appointment to meet.

If you have questions in relation to assignments, projects or grades in a specific course, please direct these to your course instructor. Questions regarding entry to the Co-op program can be directed to The Science & Environment Co-op Program Assistant at scicoop@sfu.ca.

Meet Our Advisors

Ravinder Multani

Undergraduate Advisor

Tessa Haywood

Undergraduate Advisor

Many students think advising is only for when you’re struggling, but it’s so much more than that. Meeting with an advisor each term can help you stay on track with your degree, discover courses that fit your goals, and even learn which classes might count toward a certificate you didn’t realize you were already working toward.

Ravinder and Tessa are here to help you navigate your program and make the most of your degree.

Both can support you with program requirements, internal transfer requirements, course planning, and graduation checks, as well as answer questions about courses, certificates,  prerequisites and more.

You don’t need to worry about who to email; they share the same advising inbox, so your message will reach both of them.
