Jan Filart completed his BSc in the Public Health and Data concentration and will cross the Convocation stage this fall. This degree is Filart's second and will enable him to combine his skill in statistics with his passion to help improve the health of communities in Canada and around the world.

Three FHS students secured funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) to investigate: how consensual relationships can support youth health; how to improve maternal and infant resiliency to climate stressors; and, how Indigenous ways of knowing can improve policy and equity outcomes for neurodivergent and gender diverse youth.

FHS Professor Kelley Lee is one of five world-renowned thought leaders commissioned by The Wellcome Trust to reimagine the institutions and infrastructure that underpin global health.
