OUR TEAM
The campus management team works together to support students, faculty and staff across all the sites that make up SFU’s Surrey campus. Our priority is to make the Surrey campus an inclusive, welcoming and engaging place to learn, teach, work and and connect with community.
Stephen Dooley is the Executive Director of the SFU Surrey campus. As campus director, Steve helps operationalize university-wide priorities in the context of the Surrey campus. Steve also makes it a priority to connect with students, faculty and staff with a friendly smile.
As Academic Director, Michael plays a key role in shaping the academic and research mission of SFU's Surrey campus. He collaborates with all units across campus to foster innovation, advance research, and support student success. A neurobiologist in the Department is Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Michael previously served as the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies and Dean pro tem for the Faculty of Science.
