System Overview

All contractors, subcontractors and their SFU Project Managers are required to use the new SFU Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) to document and manage the construction work  construction work across all SFU campuses.

The CSMS is a collaborative safety tool that serves as a comprehensive framework enabling SFU Project Managers and their contractors to effectively manage safety risks throughout the project lifecycle. With oversight and support provided by the EHS department, all parties strive to ensure a secure and compliant working environment for everyone involved in the project and the SFU community.

System Registration - Contractors Only 

Prior to registering, please verify that no other representatives from your company or organization have already registered a company account. This registration is not for workers or field staff to create their account, it is only to create a company account in the SFU Contractor Safety Management System. To register your company, please .

Contractor Safety Orientation

All contractor employees are required to complete the SFU Contractor Safety Orientation, which remains valid for one year. To receive credit, the orientation must be accessed and completed . Please contact your SFU Project Manager or EHS if you require assisstance.
