Mossy: Your Emotional Space
Mobile app
By: Miji Kim
Course: IAT 499 Graduation Project
Description: Mossy is an emotional reflection app that gently supports users through their day-to-day moods. With just two minutes a day, users can check in, track their feelings on a mood map, and receive tailored reflection prompts and music recommendations.
Mossy also features a gentle AI chat companion that reflects on journal entries and emotions, offering personalized, calming dialogue to guide deeper self-awareness.
The app includes an evolving character, a visual emotion garden, and a minimalist interface designed to reduce stress and encourage mindfulness.
From concept to design, development, and launch, the entire app was built independently. It is now live on the iOS App Store and was fully funded through a successful crowdfunding campaign.
