Parking during Fall Convocation

Parking is in high demand this week during Convocation on Oct 9th and 10th, as North Parking Lot will be entirely reserved for graduands and guests.

All regular visitors, FlexPass parkers, and permit holders will need to park elsewhere during this time.

Please plan ahead and give yourself lots of time to arrive on campus, or consider alternate modes of transportation, such as transit or carpooling.

Parking Rate Adjustment

As of September 1, 2025, SFU parking permit rates are being adjusted at the Burnaby & Surrey campuses. This rate adjustment includes base rates for hourly and monthly parking permits as well as Translink鈥檚 tax on parking rates at SFU. Click below for more information:
