Graduate Student & Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunities
has full-time Postdoc/PhD/MSc openings. Work at the intersection of EEG biomarkers, TMS-EEG brain mapping, and machine learning on large, harmonized datasets. Translate research findings across national/international clinical sites, collect/analyze TMS-EEG in clinical cohorts, and collaborate with an international network (e.g., ). Trainees get hands-on access to state-of-the-art neuromodulation technology, standardized neurotechnology infrastructure, custom analytical toolboxes, and cross-disciplinary mentorship with opportunities to lead papers, methods releases, and clinical translation projects.
Example project areas:
- Big Data in depression: Expand & analyze large EEG depression datasets with advanced clustering and statistical techniques
- Toolbox development: Refinement/development of biosignal processing toolboxes
- TMS-EEG brain mapping: Collection/analysis of TMS-EEG data in health and disease
Research environment:
The trainees will gain hands-on experience in neurophysiological data collection & analytics; work with neuromodulation technology; have access to unique and rich datasets/infrastructure; and be connected to an international network of experts across engineering, data analytics, neuroscience, and medicine.
Nice to have:
- Background in engineering/computer science/math/physics, neuroscience, or related fields
- Comfortable with Python or MATLAB programming
