On the Move: A video series on mobility and access of older adults and people with disabilities in Metro Vancouver
This series of 4 videos, focusing on the city of Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver and North Vancouver highlights the experiences of mobility device users. In each video, we follow two participants in their journey (in each city), and understand the different challenges they are experiencing in their daily mobility, as well as the great things that are being done to improve their inclusion.
World Café: Burnaby Community Forum, October 2024
In October 2024, a community forum on urban accessibility was held at the Bonsor Recreation Complex in Burnaby, BC. World Café, which was the moring session in the forum had a focused discussion group bringing together community stakeholders, researchers, and people with lived experience to engage in conversations about urban accessibility.
