Dr. Pauly, Principal Investigator of the COPE Project, will deliver a talk on “Coping with Heat: Recommendations and Challenges for Aging” on November 5. Organized by the Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Aging at UBC, the event will explore how to better support older adults during extreme heat.

COPE Engage is conducting focus group sessions with older adults living in affordable rental housing in Metro Vancouver. The sessions cover questions related to concerns and risk perceptions about heat events, public awareness around this issue and resource they know about or access.
