SFU's Beedie School of Business proudly supports a diverse range of student organizations that provide exceptional opportunities for growth, leadership, and engagement. Business Administration Student Society (BASS)
The Business Administration Student Society (BASS) exists to enhance the undergraduate experience by offering events, resources, and advocacy to students of the Beedie School of Business.
An entirely volunteer-run student organization, BASS represents the 4,200+ students within the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Through a variety of social events, networking events, a mentorship program, and more, BASS provides countless leadership opportunities, while bridging together students, alumni, faculty members, and industry.
BASS actively supports all current Beedie sponsored clubs to add utmost value to the Beedie student experience.

ACE SFU
ACE 91ÅÝܽ a case competition club that specializes in verbal pitching—no slides allowed! Each year, a select group of students travel to Toronto to compete at ACE Nationals, the largest undergraduate conference in Canada, where delegates challenge themselves against top schools from across the country.
ACE SFU hosts events networking opportunities and ACE Invitationals, providing students with a competitive experience that mirrors the intensity of Nationals at the SFU campuses. ACE also runs a first-year development program designed to enhance business acumen.
What sets ACE SFU apart is the unique challenge of delivering creative, high-pressure pitches without visual aids, pushing our members to think on their feet and communicate effectively under tight deadlines.

AIESEC in SFU
AIESEC in 91ÅÝܽ a local chapter of the world’s largest youth-led organization, dedicated to developing leadership through global experiences and cultural exchange. AISEC in SFU provides international volunteer programs, internships, and leadership roles, along with local events and case competitions that help students build skills in leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication. AIESEC in SFU stands out by offering global exchange opportunities that combine leadership development with social impact.

Accounting Student Association (ASA)
The SFU Accounting Student Association (ASA) is dedicated to guiding students on their path to a successful accounting career. As the only accounting-focused club at SFU, ASA provides unique opportunities for students looking to concentrate in Accounting and Finance. They collaborate with industry leaders to host networking events and information sessions, giving students invaluable insights into the accounting profession.
ASA also offers the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), where students can apply their accounting knowledge by assisting community members with their tax filings. By joining ASA, students become part of a vibrant, inclusive and fun community, building meaningful connections with peers and industry professionals while preparing for a successful future in accounting.

Ascend SFU
Ascend 91ÅÝܽ a chapter of Ascend Canada and Ascend Global, an organization that promotes Pan-Asian student leadership development through networking, workshops, and a mentorship program. Ascend’s mission is to create a more sustainable and inclusive path towards leadership by empowering business students with the resources needed to unlock their potential.
Ascend SFU offers a variety of leadership development and networking opportunities for Pan-Asian students through their larger network of 4000+ professionals, corporate partners, and 30+ university chapters. These include networking events and office crawls, events, and this year they are introducing a case competition.

Axis Consulting
Axis Consulting is SFU's student-led pro-bono consultancy, which unites aspiring consultants to realize their potential while supporting organizations to elevate their capabilities. Beyond client engagements, Axis hosts a variety of opportunities open to students; including but not limited to skill development workshops, mentorship opportunities, and industry panels. At Axis Consulting, students from diverse backgrounds have support to gain practical consulting experience, connect with industry professionals, and excel during consulting recruitment, preparing them for careers as future management consultants and strategy leaders.

CaseIT
CaseIT brings together a team of passionate SFU Beedie students who organize and host an annual international business case competition, with a focus on management information systems. CaseIT brings 16 teams from universities across the world and they engage in 2 challenging cases while exploring the beautiful City of Vancouver. What sets CaseIT apart is our personalized approach—each of the 16 teams is paired with a dedicated team host from Beedie to ensure the teams have everything they need.
CaseIT also hosts PIVOT, a local case competition with a focus on Business Technology Management (BTM), inviting students from across the Lower Mainland to apply their critical thinking and creativity to tackle real-world problems.

Enactus SFU
Enactus is a global organization that uses entrepreneurial action as a catalyst for progress. Enactus SFU seeks issues within the community and develops innovative projects that address social, environmental, and economic needs in an attempt to improve the livelihoods of others. Each year, the teams participate in national and international competitions where they present their projects to judges from academia and business, showcasing the impact of their work. Enactus empowers students to develop skills, take initiative, and grow into the future leaders that will support the community. Over the past 5 years, Enactus SFU teams have dedicated over 73,000 hours to improve the lives of over 6,600 individuals.

Jeux du Commerce West (JDC West)
Jeux du Commerce West (JDC West) is the largest and most prestigious undergraduate business competition in Western Canada. SFU’s JDC West team, representing Beedie School of Business, is one of 12 schools competing in this intense event. Over 600 students from top universities across Western Canada participate annually, applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges, honing their presentation and problem-solving skills, and gaining invaluable experience to kick-start their business careers.
Each year, more than 50 dedicated SFU Beedie students apply and train for months to participate in JDC West, competing with peers from other institutions across 10 core academic disciplines, parliamentary-style debates, sports tournaments, and innovative challenges. The 12 universities compete for various titles including the coveted School of the Year award amongst other accolades.

MIS is all about learning to live in two worlds: the world of information technology and the world of business. Young Women in Business SFU (YWIB)
Young Women in Business SFU works to empower and equip the SFU student community for success in the business world by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where students gain tangible skills, experiences, and connections.
