We extend our heartfelt thanks to the faculty, staff, students, and community members who contributed their time and energy to make Convocation such a memorable and successful event.

Over the course of five days, we celebrated as our newest alumni crossed the stage—an achievement made possible through the dedication, generosity, and collaborative spirit of our entire SFU community.

Here are just a few examples of how faculty, staff, students, and other community members came together to help bring this celebration to life:

• Setting up seating in Convocation Mall
• Assembling parchment folders for graduates
• Greeting and assisting guests
• Pinning regalia and helping graduates prepare
• Organizing and guiding graduates as they line up
• Managing parking logistics for attendees
• Sharing Convocation details via email, social media, and signage
• Coordinating faculty celebrations
• Organizing the platform party participants
• Streaming the ceremonies online for remote viewers
• Managing coat and bag check services
• Supporting safety and security throughout the event
• Handling the clean-up of garbage and recycling
• …and so much more behind the scenes!
