We invite proposals for research or scholarly projects from individuals or teams of scholars that explore one or more of the conference subthemes below:

  • How has your teaching evolved in recent years and what does this mean for your professional identity as an educator?
  • Consider: how has your definition of “learning” changed; how does the evolution of teaching impact your professional career; what steps are you taking to evolve or revolutionize your teaching? What can institutions do to support educators as people and as professionals in a changing landscape?
  • What are the current challenges and opportunities in maintaining efforts towards equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within our classrooms and beyond?
  • Consider: how these efforts are evolving; how instructors are working with students in new or different ways; what supports are still needed or could be modified?
  • How are institutions addressing rapid technological evolution while continuing to support student learning now and into the future?
  • Consider: institutional policy; access and use of generative AI; rethinking teaching approaches and assessments; reframing the value of learning; what will the students of tomorrow expect in their learning experiences?

Proposals should consider how these issues are interpreted, understood, enacted, and investigated within educational research and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning. Presenters should be prepared to present virtually on either December 9th or&Բ;10ٳ. į
