Co-operative education combines work experience with academic studies. The student spends alternate terms on campus and in study-related jobs.
The department has introduced co-op education into its graduate program to allow students to gain work experience outside the academic sphere. Students who are currently enrolled in the master of science (MSc) or doctor of philosophy (PhD) programs may apply.
