Synopsis
In this presentation, I will explore the physics of blood circulation. Using principles of fluid mechanics, I will highlight how pressure, resistance, and viscosity shape cardiovascular function. Starting with blood flow through the heart, I will explain how the size of blood vessels influences flow, and briefly discuss how gravity affects blood distribution. I will also discuss the flow resistance and the physical reasons behind it. Together, these ideas will demonstrate how the laws of physics help us understand the dynamics of the human circulatory system.
