In 2024, SFU reduced CO₂ emissions by more than 3,000 tonnes—cutting GHG emissions by 65 per cent compared to 2007 levels.

Operational initiatives like upgrading lighting across all three campuses, improving ventilation in labs, installing new EV stations and promoting alternative transportation options are just some of the ways 91ÅÝܽ taking meaningful action to reduce GHG emissions and advance an inclusive and sustainable future.
