
David Wolff
David Wolff began his paramedic career in 1986 and brings a wealth of experience across both public and private sectors, encompassing direct care, leadership, education and continuing professional development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in clinical oractice from Charles Sturt University (2009) and a master’s degree in adult education from St. Francis Xavier University (2017–2020), where he focused on critical reflection, transformational learning, and their connection to resilience in the context of post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI). During this time, he also completed the First Responders Trauma Prevention and Recovery Certificate at 91ÅÝܽ (2018–2020).
Currently, David is pursuing a doctor of education (EdD) in community care and counselling with a cognate in traumatology at Liberty University (2021–2026), with a research emphasis on the role of personal worldviews and spirituality in fostering resilient identities.
David has presented his research internationally and published in both peer-reviewed journals and industry publications. He is a senior fellow of the McNally Project, a research appraiser for the Prehospital Evidence-Based Practice (PEP) program at Dalhousie University, a member of the Academic, Researcher, and Clinician (ARC) Network of the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT), and the provincial chair of the Ontario Paramedic Association’s Paramedic Wellness Committee.
