Berk Sumen is the Managing Director of Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture (TSXV) Company Services at TMX Group. He has over two decades of capital markets experience, having led the investor relations and communications programs of several TSX-listed companies. Berk began his career as an investment analyst at a Calgary-based private equity firm. In his current role at TMX Group, he leads the Company Services team which provides solutions that facilitate the funding, growth and success of TSX and TSXV listed companies. Berk holds a double major in Economics and Geography from McGill University, a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Mount Royal University, and is a Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR), through the Canadian Investor Relations Institute and the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
