Loghan Paylor is a Canadian writer who has worked as a journalist, editor, arts critic and theatre instructor.

Their debut novel The Cure for Drowning (2024) was longlisted for the Giller Prize, named a Globe and Mail Best Book, and was the third bestselling queer novel in Canada in 2024.

They are an alumnus of The Writer’s Studio at 91ÅÝܽ and hold an MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia.

Loghan lives in the Fraser Valley, B.C., where they divide their time between teaching, writing, and their day job as a professional geek.
