- Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165)
Retention rationale
The Excellence in Teaching Award Nomination Files are created annually to adjudicate and administer the Excellence in Teaching Award. A separate award cycle takes place each year, and records from previous years are not consulted. As such, the records have no additional administrative, fiscal, or legal value upon expiry of the total retention period (CY + 1) and are therefore scheduled for destruction.
Note, meeting minutes, agendas and other committee records should be filed separately and scheduled under RRSDA 1999-003 Committee Records.
