Position Re-Evaluation Files
Description, purpose and use of records
Series comprises files created by Human Resources in the course of re-evaluating a job description or classification.
Records include re-evaluation request forms, job descriptions, drafts, correspondence and memoranda, interview questions and notes, re-evaluation reports, letters of notification.
The files are arranged alphabetically by department and within these grouping chronologically by name of person whose position is re-evaluated.
A job description or classfication re-evaluation may be initiated by either an employee or Department administration. The job description is the basis for the position's salary classification.
