HIVE Welcome Leader
HIVE Welcome Leaders
Student Engagement and Retention is seeking reliable, positive and diverse student volunteers to help welcome new students and prepare them for success at SFU. As a HIVE Welcome Leader, you will facilitate peer to peer connections, introduce key faculty and staff, and help orient students to the SFU campus and its resources.
Your role will include both in person and online engagement, supporting discussions in SFU 101 on Canvas, and planning social events during the summer and fall terms. You will play a key role on Welcome Day where you will have the opportunity to lead your assigned HIVE group through a series of engaging welcome events. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, skills and connections for a lifetime!
Mandatory training sessions will take place ongoing from July to August.
