Maite Taboada to compete in Linguistics Society of America event

Distinguished professor Maite Taboada will be presenting at the of the Linguistics Society of America (LSA) annual meeting in Philadelphia on January 10th. The research topic is gender representation in news media, using methods from corpus linguistics and natural language processing.
The is to advance the scientific study of language. The LSA plays a critical role in supporting and disseminating linguistic scholarship to linguists and to the general public for the advancement of knowledge and the betterment of society.
