My name is Sehyun Park [sÉ›.hjÊŒn.pakÌš] (she/her), and I am from Seoul, South Korea. I studied English Language and Literature (BA) and English Linguistics (MA) at Sejong University in Korea. My research focuses on phonetics and phonology, with an emphasis on cognitive processes, particularly the relationship between speech perception and production, L2 speech, and the acquisition of phonological patterns. I have research experience in L2 speech, speech production, speech recognition, and corpus studies, which provides a foundation for my research interests. Outside of academics, I love summer, peanut butter, yogurt, and learning languages. I also enjoy crocheting, watching car racing, and travelling.
