Meet Tina Shoa, Associate Professor, Sustainable Energy Engineering
Tina Shoa joined SEE in September as an Associate Professor.
Her research focuses on improving the performance, reliability, and safety of batteries in EV and grid-scale applications. Her area of expertise includes, electrochemical experiments, battery modeling and AI based diagnostics algorithm targeting optimized battery management systems.
"My interest lies in providing solutions to the current technical challenges of battery systems to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and promote sustainability. Additionally, I am eager to study the socio-economic impacts of implementing various energy solutions, aiming for a more sustainable energy future. As a faculty member for the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering, I am dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the field of battery management systems and to advancing the adoption of sustainable energy solutions."
