Preparing your spring 2026 courses in Canvas Cloud

Canvas is getting an upgrade. Starting January 2026, all courses will run on Canvas Cloud, a Canada-hosted platform.
If you're teaching in spring 2026, here's how to get started:
Access your course shells
- Go to (temporary site until Dec. 2025).
- Credit course shells from goSFU/eTRACS will appear automatically on your dashboard—you don’t need to request one.
Move your existing content (if needed)
- To reuse content from the current Canvas, migrate it through
